What is the big difference between Crystal and Glass?
From a distance, trophy & plaques made with either material look the similar, but they have distinct differences when compared.  Both materials have similar manufacturing process & composition. The process begins with melted sand that turns to a firm, translucent working material glass.
Glass is a generic material category name. Crystal itself is a subcategory of glass, made with similar production procedures as glass but with different materials. Hence, all crystal is glass, but not all glass can be called crystal.
Regular glass is often a little bit lacking in appearance and can typically feature a hue tint based on the ingredients in its composition list. It can have a green tint if made with iron or a blue tint if made with soda lime. It’s also typically lighter in weight in comparison to crystal pieces of the same design.
Our crystal is special as it has a high proportion of minerals (traditionally lead) in it, which makes it stronger and clearer, amongst other advantages. Crystal trophy & plaques are the standard for quality award recognition, and with the development of lead-free crystal, the pristine crystal award is unmatched.

Here are a few explanations:
1. CRYSTAL TROPHY & PLAQUE HAS MORE BRILLIANCE AND CLARITY THAN GLASS.
The crystal is a noble material. It has refracting properties like a prism, changing the light coming through in the form of a rainbow. Crystal trophies and plaques have a dazzling personality and an astonishing brightness; they are glossier and more transparent than glass plaques. If you’re placing in display shelves, showrooms or desk, you know that the sense of sight plays a big part in enjoying it. The award title, recipient names and  congratulatory messages are better appreciated in a crystal glass, whether they’re in sandblasting finishing or additional colour fill in.

3. CRYSTAL IN A FORM OF ART.
Many crystal and glass art pieces is made in factories, but the best craftsman creates the blown figures made by artisans in the old days. The best blown crystal art pieces have an undescriptive noble essence and are incredibly precise; unique shapes and form. They are also stunning, real works of art.
